Only a few weeks later it seems that Facebook has had yet another embarrassing security gaff. Gawker is reporting that on late Tuesday email addresses of users were made public for 30 minutes.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">During that time, some users reported trying to make them hidden again to no avail. Unfortunately, email addresses were being revealed during the breach regardless of whether they were already set to be hidden by users from their profiles.</div>
<div id="_mcePaste">Facebook needs to do a serious investigation into why the company has now had two security screw-ups in such a short space of time. The social network has seen tremendous growth over the last couple of years, but nothing will cause users to drop faster than making them feel that their private information is not safe.</div>
